All-American Greg Scott '14 leads the Hamilton College men's golf team into 2011-12 as the Continentals aim to return to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) championship after missing the event for the first time in 2011. Scott capped his freshman season with third team All-America honors, and spots on the Division III all-freshman and Northeast Region all-region teams. His 18-hole stroke average was 74.7 for 21 rounds. Scott's 67 in the first round at the SUNY Oswego Spring Invitational tied a team-best, and his 139 for 36 holes at that tournament is a record since head coach Al Highducheck arrived in spring 2003. Hamilton finished in the top four at the NESCAC championship qualifier and advanced to the conference championship from 2008 to 2010. The Continentals just missed advancing to the championship last season as they were fifth in the qualifier.
