Overview
The Hamilton College women's basketball team will adjust to a new conference and a new head coach in 2011-12. Since 1995-96, Hamilton had been a member of the Liberty League. But this season, the Continentals join 10 other schools in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). Kate DeSorrento, who was the top assistant at the University of Rochester the past three seasons, steps into her first head coaching job at Hamilton. DeSorrento inherits a team that posted a 9-14 record last season. Madie Harlem '13 and Eliza Howe '13 made the 2011 all-league team. The Continentals led the league in scoring defense, field goal percentage and field goal percentage defense.
